Terms of Use

Welcome to Starlit Olympus (https://narcissus-praline-corner.shop). These terms of use govern your use of the site, which is written and run by the editors of Starlit Olympus ("we", "us"). By browsing or otherwise using Starlit Olympus, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle information and form part of these terms.

Using the site

Starlit Olympus is a free editorial blog about Greek myths. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to buy or subscribe to. We may update, correct, reorganize or remove any content, and we may suspend the site temporarily or permanently, for example for maintenance. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Copyright

All texts published on Starlit Olympus are © Starlit Olympus. All rights reserved. This covers our articles, retellings, commentary and the wording of every page, which are protected by Canada's Copyright Act and international copyright treaties.

The myths are part of a shared heritage, and the ancient works we draw on are free for anyone to read. What belongs to us is our own writing: how each story is selected, retold, explained and arranged here.

The illustrations were created for Starlit Olympus with AI image-generation tools, based on our own creative direction. They are interpretations, not photographs of real sculptures, objects or sites, and they should not be treated as a record of any ancient artwork. Please ask us before reusing any of them.

Our content is provided for general educational and cultural interest. We base it on the ancient sources and on published scholarship, and we correct errors when we find them. Still, myths have come down to us in many conflicting versions, interpretations change, and we cannot warrant that every statement is complete or current. Nothing on Starlit Olympus is professional advice of any kind, whether academic, legal, medical or financial. If you need certainty for research or publication, please consult the primary sources and current scholarship.
